The 33rd Annual Cascade Festival of African Films: Africa Through African Lenses is a hybrid virtual and in-person film festival at the Portland Community College Cascade campus, as well as at Hollywood Theater. Celebrate Black history and culture with spectacular films.

 

TUALATIN VALLEY GEM CLUB ROCK & GEM SHOW

Tualatin Valley Gem Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes the interests and learning of geology, lapidary arts, paleontology and mineralogy.  Exhibits consist of all varieties and combinations of private collections. These collections can consist of lapidary works, wire-wrapped or silver-smithed gems, minerals in their crystal form, and fossils from around the world.

 

FARMERS MARKET AT PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY

The campus of Portland State University on the South Park Blocks provides a picturesque backdrop for Portland Farmers Market’s year-round flagship market. Farmers and artisan food producers fill 140 stall spaces with the bounty of our region.

Open every Saturday, the Pearson Field Education Center is the ideal location for youth of to experience STEM education through aviation. Explore a flight simulator lab, Kerbal Space Program stations, vertical wind table, glider building, historic airplanes and collections on display, and various educational programs. Admission is free.

Bring your car, truck, or motorcycle and join in for Cars & Coffee at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Newport. There will be a BBQ vendor barbecuing sandwiches for participants and spectators.

Join the Coastal Arts Guild for Tea & Talk from artist Windwalker Taibi of Raven Rocks Studio & Gallery.  His work includes tapestry design and weaving, yarn spinning, watercolor and stone cutting. 

 

CENTRAL OREGON:

JAZZ NIGHT

Join us at Walt Reilly’s for our first Jazz Night. The night will feature Central Oregon’s Big Band Jazz, a 17-piece ensemble. “Jazz club” attire encouraged, specialty cocktails, photo booth, and a magical night to remember!
